implement 实行 = carry out, to trigger

We have great plans, now we need to implement them.

In business, the problem often isn’t in the idea, it’s in the implementation.

Trump is implementing a lot of changes.


undermine = to make something weaker (like mining under a building)

Trump’s changes are undermining social peace.

A company should not undermine the confidence of its customers.


the Brexit = Britain’s exit of the European Union

a row = an argument, a disagreement, a fight

unjustified = with no reason, no justification. Groundless

These allegations are unjustified and groundless.


judiciary = related to judges

The legal and the judiciary systems both need to be reformed.


the Parliament 议会 = people who make and change laws (part of the legal system)

a minister 部长 = a member of the government that is in charge of a government department


furious = very angry

When I learned I was fired, I was really furious.

Two people were having a furious row in the street this morning.


MP = member of parliament 议员
