discrimination = discriminate people because of their origin, skin color, race, language, etc. 歧视对待
Discrimination is a big problem in American society. It’s hard to get a job if you’re black.
People often discriminate you if you are not white.
instead of
People say we should help veterans instead of refugees.
boycott 抵制
Each side wants to boycott the other side.
