Quote vs Quotation.
When using spoken English the term “Quote” is far more commonly accepted.
The most common use a: “Quote” is to ask for a fair value purchasing price and, “Quotation” is to reproduce a persons words as they had spoken/written them in context.
However “Quote” is actually the informal use of the word “Quotation.” They technically can be used interchangeably (a journalist if asked for a quote will reproduce someones words).

Undermine – To negatively contribute against the success of something. It can be obvious, accidental or sneakily applied
e.g. The students undermine the teacher best intentions.
e.g. The employee undermined the boss by giving clients a bad view of work conditions.
e.g. The courts undermined the work of the police by not sentencing repeat offenders.
