There are three different families. One is an ordinary couple and three kids. The other is a gay couple with an adopted child from vietnam. Another is an old man with a sexy young Columbian wife and her 11 year old son. My favorite character is the father from the first family. He is very considerate and loves his family and wife very much. I think the father is very romantic he likes to prepare little surprises for his wife. Another character I like is the grandpa. I think although he is kind of mean and distant from people . I can tell he loves his wife and children very much. The show is styled/shot like a mockumentary.
