When I came to Shanghai in the past I used to go and eat the higher end places on The Bund.
status– diwei- a person’s standing in society,
eg. They want to show off their status by having western or Shanghainese friends.
tip/tipping– an extra payment for good service, especially in America
eg. A standard tip in America is 15% or more on top of the tab/bill/check.
Grammar
Not so many menu. There isn’t a lot of choices on the menu.
Some people makes a lot of money. Some people make a lot of money.
I have money so I go to restaurant. I have money so I like to go to restaurants.
It is ridiculous.
