Speaking exercise

Last Wed. my swedish friend asked me if I have time on Sat. night and  he wanted invited me and other friends near PS. At first, I couldn’t decide because maybe I needed to work on Sat. but later it was fine, I could go there. At that night, at 6:30PM we had dinner together, we enjoyed the dinner and during dinner all of us except for a lady drank much beer and my friends also drank a bottle of Chinese white wine. At 8:30PM we left and went to the bar. There was a music performance there and it was blue jazz. It was the first time I listened to that sort of music. The performance started at 9:30PM. At first, we ordered 5 bottles of beer, just after 40 minutes a lady left and at 11PM Japanese guy also left. So, just me and my swedish friend and another Chinese guy were there. The music performance ended at 2AM. I think we drank 12 bottles of beer. After the performance I called a taxi. One minute later, the driver called me
“Hi, I am outside waiting for you. Where are you?”
“Ok, ok, I will go there, wait for me please.”

But actually I didn’t realize I had called a taxi. I told the driver to stop at Moganshan Road first, there my Chinese friend stepped out of the taxi. Then the driver took us to DongHua University. Me and my swedish friend were so drunk we had a chat in the taxi. There’s a saying ________ we said too much which we hadn’t talked before. After my friend got out of the taxi I saw him staggering.  When I was at home it was nearly 3AM, I opened the A/C and took off my clothes and fell asleep immediately.

On Sunday morning, I was totally hung over. I felt so uncomfortable. So I stayed at home for 1 day. Actually, I couldn’t image my swedish friend would be drunk but he was. Anyway, it was a very happy night I loved it.

Last Wednesday my Swedish friend, who is also named Sam, asked me if I have time on Saturday night because he wanted to invite me and other friends to have dinner near PS. At first, I couldn’t decide because maybe I needed to work on Sat. but later it was fine, I could go/join. That night at 6:30PM, we enjoyed dinner together and during dinner all of us except for Fiona, our friend, drank a lot of beer and they also drank a bottle of Chinese white wine.

At 8:30PM we left and went to the bar. There was a blue jazz playing/ There was a blue jazz band playing. It was the first time I listened to that sort of music. Their set started at 9:30PM.

At first, we ordered 5 bottles of beer, just after 40 minutes Fiona left and at 11PM my Japanese friend, Mizuki, also left. So, just me, Sam and our other Chinese friend, Dongping, were there. The music performance ended at 2AM. I think we drank 12 bottles of beer. After the performance I called a taxi. One minute later, the driver called me.
“Hi, I am outside waiting for you. Where are you?”
“Ok, ok, I will go there, wait for me please.”

But actually I didn’t realize I had called a taxi. I told the driver to stop at Moganshan Road first where Dongping stepped/got out (of the taxi). Then the driver took us to DongHua University. Sam and I were so drunk that we had a heart-to-heart chat in the taxi.

There’s a saying “in vino veritas,” if it weren’t for the beer we would have never talked like this. After he got out of the taxi I saw him staggering.  When I arrived/got home it was nearly 3AM, I turned on the A/C took off my clothes without taking out my contacts, and fell asleep immediately.

On Sunday morning, I was totally hung over. I felt so uncomfortable/sick, I had raging/splitting headache. So I stayed at home for 1 day. In the afternoon, I slept for almost 3 hours and that night I couldn’t fall asleep. It was awful. Actually, I couldn’t image Sam was drunk but he was. Anyway, it was a very happy night and I loved it.
