Regarding birthday celebrations, there are different traditions all around the world / world wide / globally / all across the world / in different countries. In China, we also have some traditions on this topic. For newborns, we will celebrate his or her 100 days as their most important birthday which is even more important than the first /1st  or tenth/10th birthdays. It’s also very special to celebrate the thirtieth/30th on one’s 29th birthday party. Nine in Chinese means long so we wish we could have a long long life. For seniors/elderly people, it’s dangerous to celebrate their 70th, 80th and 90th because it’s said that the King of Hell would know you are alive, and take you away.
