When i came here just now, the receptionists showed no respect and kept asking who I was looking for with a skeptical attitude. I told them I was here for SE, but one of the receptionists still followed me until I found Tony. I had no idea what happened actually. Don’t they know that some rooms have been rented out?

When I came here just now, the receptionists showed very little respect to me and kept asking me who I was looking for with that skeptical and condescending look on their faces.

I told them I had an appointment at SE, but one of them still followed me all the way to the classroom until I eventually came across / ran into Tony.

I don’t have the slightest ghost of an idea to what actually happened. Don’t they know that some offices are actually occupied by real people with actual jobs?
