to keep up with the Joneses = to try to be as successful as your neighbours

atypical = special, not typical

a prerequisite = 前提 (pre= 前, require = 需要)

A mainly positive man is a prerequisite.

a red flag = a sign of danger, a sign that you should stop

have your own agenda = have a hidden goal

Some people pretend to be nice to you but actually have their own agenda and want you to do something for them. This is a huge red flag.

I think generosity is a big turn-on.
