I decided to make a dress with hoops.

sew / sewed / sewn = 缝制，缝

a seamster, a seamstress = a man or woman who sews

I can’t sew but my shirt needs to be sewn. I will probably ask a seamstress to do it.

thimble 顶针 = a metal cap to protect 保护 your finger when sewing

sharp 尖锐的，尖刻的，严厉的

Be careful, this knife is very sharp.

Sometimes, my teacher speaks to me sharply.

Cashmere comes from a goat / a sheep
