Review:

Suitcase:  a bag to hold your items when you go on a trip.

Optimistic (Opp – ta – miss – tick)

Strategy (straa – teh – gee)

Ex:  I have a strategy to finish my work.

Ex:  I must create a strategy to finish my work in two hours.

Trash/ trash can:  garbage can, waste basket

Ex:  There are many trash cans on the street.

Ex:  Trash cans are very common in many cities.

Ex:  You should throw your trash in the trash can.

Hobbies:

Very less common – much less common/uncommon

Competition:  where you compete to win a prize or an award.

Ex:  In China children have many competitions.

Trophy:  a small golden statue, to serve as evidence of victory.

Ex:  In a competition if you are the winner you will get a trophy or a certificate.

Planning to Italy – planning to visit Italy/ planning to go to Italy

I’m afraid of fat – I’m afraid of getting fat

Variety:  difference, or mixed.

Ex:  “Variety is the spice of life” = Having different things in your life adds flavor to it.

Ex:   There is a variety of flowers./ There are various flowers.

Tv too long time – too much tv
