I ate breakfast at 10 o’clock in the morning, which was good I had a lot of bread. 

Afternoon:

I come here at 4 o’clock in the afternoon to study English. – I came here at 4 o’clock…

Evening:

I go to bed at 10pm in the evening everyday. 

I go to bed at 10pm in the evening which is early so I can sleep a lot. 

Going to the movies:

I want to go to the movies.

Coming to Smart English:

I want to come to Smart English.

I came to smart English at 4pm.

I will come to Smart English tomorrow.

I am coming to Smart English now.

Eating Dinner:

I want to eating dinner – I want to eat dinner.

I ate dinner yesterday at 6pm.

I will eat dinner tonight at 7pm.

I am eating dinner now.

I have eaten dinner every day.

Buying shoes:

I want to buy shoes

I bought shoes online yesterday.

I will buy shoes online tomorrow.

I am buying shoes right now.

I have bought shoes online 3 times/ I have bought shoes already/ I have bought shoes for my mother twice.

turn on < > turn off – kai computer / light / phone / TV

open < > close – open a door, close the chuang lian

eg. I am turned on computer – I am turning on my computer.

eg.  I am turning off my computer.

After class I go to home eat dinner – After class I will go home to eat dinner

What do you do for fun?/What are your hobbies?

yes – I like plants – I like growing plants

grow:  成长 to get bigger, to age.

eg.  Children are always growing.

eg.  Penny likes to grow plants.

eg.  I can water the plants and this will help/make them grow! / keep them alive.

eg.  I can water the flowers and this will make them grow.

eg.  Flowers need water to grow!

eg.  Water will make the flowers grow, which means they are healthy so I must keep watering them.
