What are your thoughts about teamwork? Which role do you take: leader, team player or stick in the mud?
1. Leader: dependable, make quick decisions, makes good decisions, take charge, organized.
2. team player: cooperative, are very agreeable, requires an atmosphere of trust and respect. Doesn’t take charge very often.
[team member: you work there. Doesn’t really express the personality behind it. They follow the leaders intructions. ]
3. stick in the mud: type of team member, who is stubborn. Doesn’t get along well with co-workers. Not cooperative. Has strong opinions.

professional/expert: a person who is expert at his or her work (same meaning).

gross wages: the total wages before any deductions.
net wages: the total wages after any deductions.
pay slip: the paper you get after a pay check lists gross wages, net wages and each deduction. (pay stub)
stub: a short remaining piece, or a checkbook receipt. (like at the movie theatre)
ex: When you go to the cinema the worker will give you the stub from your ticket.
