Vocabulary
Prejudice (n): 1- a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience.
E.g.:Â There’s still a lot of prejudice against gay people in the world.
Racism (n): 1- discrimination based on race. 2- a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
E.g.: He suffered a lot of racism in his life.
Homophobia (n):Â 1-Â unfair treatment of people because of their sexual orientation; especially: unfair treatment of gays, lesbians, transexuals and other LGBTQ people.
E.g.: Homophobia is still a big problem all over the world.
Sexism (n): 1- unfair treatment of people because of their sex; especially : unfair treatment of women.
E.g.: Many people are fighting to end sexism in the government.
Feminism (n): 1- the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities.
E.g.: Feminism is an important tool to make sure women are treated fairly and have their rights protected.
Sexual Assault (n): 1-Â illegal sexual contact that usually involves force upon a person without consent or is inflicted upon a person who is incapable of giving consent.
E.g.: He was accused of committing sexual assault against several women.
Rape (n): 1-Â unlawful sexual activity and usually sexual intercourse carried out forcibly or under threat of injury against the will usually of a female or with a person who is beneath a certain age or incapable of valid consent
E.g.:Â He is accused of raping the girl.
Conservative (n): 1- believing in the value of established and traditional practices in politics and society : relating to or supporting political conservatism.
E.g.:Â America is still a very conservative country, where religion still influences political decisions.
Progressive  (n): 1- using or interested in new or modern ideas especially in politics and education.
E.g.:Â He was a very progressive person and supported causes like feminism and LGBT rights.
Abortion (n): 1- the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks. 2- æµäº§
E.g.:Â The choice to terminate a pregnancy should come from the woman alone and the state should secure abortion rights to everyone who decides to do so.
