Vocabulary

racquet – a long flat thing you hold to play many sports with.

eg: Tennis racquet, Badminton racquet

notice – to see or know about sth.

Grammar

Simple Present – Use it when you always or usually do something.       Go.     Eat.   Work.

eg: I eat dinner at 7pm.    (probably every day) (don’t need to say usually, because it already has that meaning)

eg: I go to work at 8am.

eg: He works/ I work for a fashion group.

Simple Past – Use it when something is finished.

eg: I went to class at 4pm.    (Just this one time, already finished)

eg: I ate dinner at 9pm, I usually eat at 7.

eg: I worked until 10pm last night.

Present perfect continuous Participle Have been doing, Start in Past, still happening now.

eg: I have been living in Shanghai for 6 months.

Past Simple Participle – you have done this at least once, any time before.

eg: Have you been skydiving?

eg:Have you eaten shark?   I have never eaten shark.      I haven’t eaten shark.

eg: Have you tried yoga?

I have never owned a dog.

Have you eaten breakfast (today)?   (Any time) of course.    (Today) yes or no.

I work in Shanghai.   (always or usually)

I worked in Yantai.    ( any time, finished)

I have worked in Yantai.   (at least once)

I have been working in Shanghai.   (still work in Shanghai now)
