Rachelā€™s birthday

The other five friends were discussing how to celebrate Rachelā€™s birthday. They planed to give her a surprise. But they had different opinions on whom to invite. One important thing, they couldnā€™t have Rachelā€™s parents attend together, because they were quarreling and even quarreled at Rachelā€™s sisterā€™s graduation. So they invited Rachelā€™s mom only.

On Rachelā€™s birthday morning, they began to prepare birthday candles, balloons, foods and drinks. Phoebe asked where the cake was and Monica answered they didnā€™t have birthday cake but birthday flan. At that time Rachelā€™s dad came, which made everyone in a panic. And later her mom also knocked the door. To avoid both of them meeting, Chandler made an excuse to let Rachelā€™s dad to go to the bedroom. At the same time Phoebe took Rachelā€™s mom to the bathroom to have a talking. Monica lied Rachelā€™s dad that it was just the staging area and the party would held at Chandlerā€™s apartment so he should wait there.

Finally they held two birthday parties. One was at Monicaā€™s apartment with Rachelā€™s mom and the other one was at Chandlerā€™s apartment with Rachelā€™s dad. Rachel hurried to the two sides to cope with her parents and listened to their complaint about each other at the whole party. Thatā€™s really a surprise!

Rachelā€™s birthday

The other five friends wereĀ trying to figure out how to celebrate Rachelā€™s birthday. They planned to throw her a surprise party but they had different opinions on whom to invite. The most important thing was that they couldnā€™t have Rachelā€™s parents attend together because they were quarreling/fighting/arguing and even quarreled/fought/argued/bickered at Rachelā€™s sisterā€™s graduation. So they only invited Rachelā€™s mom.

On the morning of Rachelā€™s birthday, they began to prepare/decorate. / They were getting ready/setting up for the party. Phoebe asked where the cake was and Monica answered they didnā€™t have birthday cake but birthday flan. At that time Rachelā€™s dad appeared out of nowhere which made everyone frantic. Five minutes later/Soon after, her mom also knocked on the door. To avoid both of them meeting, Chandler made up an excuse to make Rachelā€™s dad go to the bedroom. At the same time Phoebe distracted Rachelā€™s mom by taking her to the bathroom to have a talk. Monica lied to Rachelā€™s dad that her apartment was just the staging area and the party would be held at Chandlerā€™s apartment so he should wait there.

Finally they threw two separate birthday parties. One was at Monicaā€™s apartment with Rachelā€™s mom and the other one was at Chandlerā€™s apartment with Rachelā€™s dad. Rachel scurried from one side to the other and back to cope with her parents and listen to their complaints about each other during the whole party. Her party was really a surprise! If this happened to me, I would be pissed off or frustrated!
