eg: “I lived in the dorm for only one week, then moved out because it’s so old and dirty.”

take photos of – this thing or person is in the photo

eg: “She took photos of me.”

interview V. – cai fang, ask some

“They wanted to interview me.”

yeah – yes

Grammar

I lived in the dorm for only one week, then moved out because it’s so old and dirty.

(You don’t still live there, so use Lived)     (the building is still old and dirty, so use IS)

take took tooked

have been – from a point in the past, until now

How long have you been at your parent’s home?

I have been living at my parent’s home for four days.

I’ve been studying English at SmartEnglish for 6 months.

We’ve been having class for 10 minutes.

We have been having class for 10 minutes. (This is correct, but doesn’t sound great)

Describe what they are wearing:

Pattern: She is wearing a Plaid pattern outfit with a big collar and buttons on the front.

Under it she is wearing a white t-shirt.

Material: It’s a material like cotton, very comfortable and light.

Accessories: She is wearing a black Belt over her outfit.
