Vocabulary

air – the thing we breathe

eg. Can you see the air go into the ball?

inflate v. – to put air into sth

eg. We inflated the ball.

deflate v. – to take air out of sth

eg. Michelle deflated the balloons after the party.

plug – sth used to close a hole

eg. Please put the plug in the hole so the air doesn’t come out!

pump – sth used to put air into sth

eg. Michelle used a pump to inflate the ball.

backwards -to move sth the  opposite of forward

eg. Can walk backwards?
