F2F Class Notes 9th December (Celeste)

Review:

I feel daunted before I  give a presentation.

My daily routine is get up at 6:30am and do some exercise.

yoga mat – soft, cushiony mat used for yoga or other floor exercises

I always cram a lot of books before I go to take an exam. – I always cram right before I go to take an exam.

eg. I was running late for school so I crammed my breakfast into my mouth as I was running out the door.

When I am well prepared my nervousness will disappear.

After I finished my presentation my classmates applauded me.

We put a lot of effort into this competition.

I was working on preparing for my next exam.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I have 2 theoretical classes this semester.

I am distracted when having a boring class.

I am out of it when my friend is talking to me.

I am out of it today because I haven’t had any sleep/coffee.

Native Americans are those people who have lived in the American continents before the Europeans came.

I am always on the fence when my parents fight with each other.

I want to go to America bevause I want to study the master of law at the American Law School. I haven’t specify it, I just want to try my best to enter those best law school like Cornell. I want to get in to the New York University but I think it’s too difficult for me because it doesn’t admit too much Chinese students. Actually it only admit those students from Beijing University. I think it’s a little bit difficult for me. I think Cornell or UCLA are maybe easier to enter.
