Vocabulary

Launch (n): 1- an event to celebrate or introduce something new.
E.g.: Our marketing people have come up with a great idea for the launch of the new model.

Rational (adj): 1- based on clear thought and reason.
E.g.: There must be some rational explanation for what happened.

Cook (n): 1- someone who prepares and cooks food.
E.g.: She’s a wonderful cook.

Chef (n): 1- a skilled and trained cook who works in a hotel or restaurant, especially the most important cook:
E.g.: He is one of the top chefs in Britain.

Courage (n): 1- the ability to control your fear in a dangerous or difficult situation; bravery.
E.g.: I spent a week gathering the courage to say no.

Encouragement (n): 1- words or behavior that give someone confidence to do something (v: encourage).
E.g.: Children need lots of encouragement from their parents.

Motivation (n):1- a reason or reasons for acting or behaving in a particular way.

Do you like Rachel?

No, not really, I think. I think she is a little bit strange because there’s a situation like Ross has to join a party from his museum but Rachel, she changed her clothes for hours and Ross got mad and Rachel got mad too and at last she changed a normal clothes and decided not to go to the party. I don’t know why. I think she’s really strange. If my bf must join a very important party I wouldn’t do anything like Rachel. Maybe I had a quick decision to wear which clothes and not got mad at him because that’s important to him. But, my friends told me that most of girls are like Rachel so maybe I’m the strange one to them. She’ like a princess, a child. She don’t think about other ppl’s feeling I think. Maybe I just saw the season 3. I don’t know what matters on season 10.

No, not really, sometimes I like her, and sometimes I don’t. I think she is a little bit strange because in one episode Ross had to go to his book launch at the museum, but it took Rachel a long time to get dressed, so Ross got mad. Then Rachel got mad too, put on normal clothes and decided not to go to the party. I don’t know why. I think she’s really strange. If my boyfriend had to attend a very important party I wouldn’t do what Rachel did. I would try to make a quick decision on which clothes to wear and not get mad at him, as the occasion was important to him. But my friends told me that most girls are like Rachel, so maybe I’m the strange one. She’s like a princess, a child and I think, she doesn’t think about other people’s feelings. Maybe I have this impression because I only saw season 3. I don’t know what happens after that.
