marriage – union between two people

e.g. Jack and Mary are getting married

a path – a road, a way to get somewhere

e.g. There’s a little path by the mountain that leads to the house.

path of footsteps – there’s SO many footsteps that they form a path

e.g. Follow this path of footsteps
