Vocabulary

Adventure – when you go somewhere or do something that is new to you. (e.g. My favourite type of holidays are adventures.) 

Tourist spots – places where there are lots of tourists (e.g. I usually try to avoid tourist spots because I hate crowded places.)

Tourist trap – somewhere that attracts lots of tourists and is usually expensive. (e.g. I don’t like going to Phuket because I think it is just a big tourist trap.)

Ecotourism – an environmentally friendly way of traveling. 1) money goes to the locals 2) you get educated about the locals 3) you leave it in the same condition as you found it (e.g. I think ecotourism is a good way to travel because it benefits more than just yourself.)

Scenery – 风景 the environment around the place you are visiting (e.g. My favourite type of scenery is a quiet and peaceful place with lots of nature.)
