Vocabulary

rusty – to feel like you haven’t done sth for a while and are not as good at it as you were previously
eg. I have been on holidays for 2 weeks and haven’t taught since before then, so I am a bit rusty.

rust – shen xiu

there is rainy season – it is the rainy season

disorder – mental sicknesses / behavioural

minor < > serious (problems / illness)

transcript – tv / movie subtitles that are written out

pill – tablet

to skip a meal / skip lunch

grow my weight – put on weight 

throw up / spew (casual) / vomit (dr) – tu
eg. i’m so sick I want to throw up

fertile = full of life / can make life / can have kids
eg. some men are infertile because they drink too much alcohol

to fail = to stop working properly
eg. i had heart failure and needed to get a new heart
