Vocabulary
Differentiate (v): 1- to show or find the difference between things that are compared.
E.g.: We do not differentiate between our employees on the basis of their race, religion, or national origin.
Distinguish (v): 1- to notice or understand the difference between two things, or to make one person or thing seem different from another:
E.g.: He’s color-blind, so can’t distinguish between red and green easily.
Incompetent (adj): 1- not having the ability to do something as it should be done. (≠ Competent)
E.g.: He is a very incompetent worker.
Competence (n): 1- the ability to do something well.
E.g.: She has a lot of competence as a teacher.
Questionable (adj): 1- not certain, or wrong in some way.
E.g.: It is questionable whether this goal can be achieved.
Unquestionable (adj): 1- obvious and impossible to doubt.
E.g.: Her competence as a teacher is unquestionable.
Admit (v): 1- to agree that something is true, especially unwillingly.
E.g.: He admitted his mistake.
Rude (adj): 1- not polite; offensive or embarrassing.
E.g.: It’s rude not to say “Thank you” when you are given something.
Exhausting (adj): 1- making you feel extremely tired:
E.g.: I’ve had an exhausting day.
Coworker (n): 1- colleague.
E.g.: Tom is my favorite coworker.
Grammar
My mood is very bad. – I’m in a very bad mood.
I had a problem in work. – I had a problem at work.
You know my meaning. – You know what I mean.
I have a lot of to learn from them. – I have a lot to learn from them.
