landfill – a large space of land where a city’s trash is dumped and covered with dirt
Ex: Landfills often smell bad because of all the trash.
fish (only one) / fish (more than 1)
Ex: There are a lot of fish in the tank.
exhaust – the fumes that come out of a car
Ex: The car’s exhaust looked like a dark gray cloud.
recycle – take something old and make something new
Ex: I want to recycle my old magazines into a new art piece.
reduce – use less of something
Ex: I wish people would reduce the amount of water they use.
reuse – use something again
Ex: I want to reuse my coffee cup, please don’t throw it away yet.
