Decent – Can be used to describe lots of things.

“how was your day” – “it was decent”

A decent person:  describes that they have good characteristics

  • well mannered
  • polite
  • good morals

morals:  your beliefs. (different for each person) What you think is good vs. bad.

Eg.  Someone with good morals/strong morals thinks that stealing is wrong.

Eg.  Someone with bad morals/ no morals thinks that stealing is okay.

Ball girl/boy, water girl/boy, retrieve, athletes, perfume, cologne, fragrance, decent

 

Original:

Recently there are some game of Tennis in England.  In there there are some ball boys and ball girls.  There’s work is to retrieve the ball after the athlete get a score.  The entire audience is wearing a fragrance.   And the audience is used to use the perfume for woman, and the gentlemen will use the cologne at that time. So that people will wear the decent clothes to take part in the game, and sometimes the athlete skill may be decent in the match.  The water girl and the water boy will send the water to the athlete when they are in the rest.  So I think one day I can go there go join the match as a athlete.

Finishing a story:

  • I think watching Tennis is very exciting, I hope to go to England one day to see a match.
  • I think being a ball girl/water boy would be hard work. But I hope they enjoy it.
  • So I think one day I can go there go join the match as a athlete.
  • I think the wearing of fragrance should be banned at tennis games.

Ice rink:  the sports field to play ice hockey on.  Made of ice.

Hockey:  a sport that is played on ice, with ice skates and a hockey stick.

  • Ball hockey – on the ground (no ice skates)
