a TV series called ‘Friends’

They suggested me to learn from TV series.

I gave it up, which lead to me being here now.

Yesterday was the first time I watched a TV series and tried to learn from it.

One episode lasts 30 minutes but I just watched 15 (minutes).

The second ‘minutes’ is redundant = 多余的

However, I spent one hour on these 15 minutes of video.

I watched the video while taking notes. = I took notes while watching the video.

Yesterday , Chen downloaded American tv series “Friends “,he said that he will try to watch American tv series to learn English.Actually, he isn’t the first person who said me this way. When I was a child, my classmate were watching; when I was teenage, my sister was watching. Both of those time I didn’t use, because I totally couldn’t know what the tv series said. Oh, so sad to me. Initially, I didn’t pay more attention to English learning, which led to that I am learning English now.

But yesterday, it was the first time i watched “Friend”, when I was watching, I am taking notes in my notes book according to Chinese subtitle and stopped every minutes one by one. It was a little bit hard to me. This episode has 30mins, I just watched and learned 15mins ,even I spent one hour for it. After that, I want to adjust my plan, which is one tv series, one advertising article and one business conversation everyday. It still is to try, I hoped that it will more effective.

A new way to learn English  (a way to do)

During both those periods of time, I didn’t get them because I totally couldn’t know what the TV series said. Oh, it was so sad for me. Initially, I didn’t pay attention to English-learning, which led to me being learning English now.

But yesterday, it was the first time I watched “Friends”. While I was watching, I took notes in my notebook, using Chinese subtitles and stopping every minute to read every sentence one by one.

Now, I want to adjust my plan, which is to work on one TV series episode, one advertising article and one business conversation everyday. I still need to try, I hope that it will be effective.

I am the first one to wake up. I am the last one to sleep.
