privacy – to have some private space, be alone, don’t let others see your things.

eg: She wanted privacy, but he wanted to be social.

demanding – a person who tells you that you must do many things

eg: The host was too demanding and strict.

bypass – find a way around something, or a way to skip a step

eg: We bypassed security at the airport. Nobody can bypass security at the airport.

banned – no longer allowed there

eg: This game is banned in China.

firewall – a digital wall used to restrict access to certain websites or machines

eg: China has the great wall on land, and the great firewall on the internet.

He wouldn’t let her eat meat.

He wanted her to make her own meals.

They had a different idea about personal space.
