Farine bakery’s flour scandal shocked its shanghai customers

During the period of this year’s World Customer Rights Day, a breaking news shocked people who live in shanghai. Farine bakery, which was one of the most popular bakeries in shanghai and had a bunch of royal customers who stood in long queues for its well-known croissant every day, has been exposed to the public that the workers there have been using expired and rancid flour for a long time. The whole process of sieving desired flour from non-desired parts was recorded and uploaded to the internet by one of its employee, who is the first one standing out and making sound for this. After this scandal has been exposed, Shanghai Food Quality Department did a further investigation about this company’s food materials and more breaking news popped up. There were tons of expired flour stored in its warehouse, waiting to be used.
If that former employee didn’t say this out, how much soured bread would we swallow down? If we demand a healthy and sanitary environment, we need more people to speak for it.
