envy V. – the desire to have what another person has
eg: “I envy her, because she gets to go to Paris.”
jealous adj. – to feel like you want what another person has
eg: “I’m jealous that she gets to go to Paris.”

have not gotten/had so much experience with assessments – participle meaning (have been), from Grammar which tells us an event happened in the past until now.
I don’t have so much experience. this have is a different meaning, which refers to possession.

When did I get the dog? ten years ago
I haven’t had a dog for ten years.
Do I have a dog now? No
When did I get the dog? We can’t know from this sentence.
When did I stop having a dog? Ten years ago.
How long have I not had a dog? Ten years.
