Vocabulary

mixed-race people – people who are more than one race

e.g. Tanya is mixed-race, her mom is Chinese and her dad is Belgian.

monolids – when you only have one eyelid (otherwise you have double eyelids)

e.g. Most Chinese people have monolids

lid – 盖子

eyelid – 眼皮

stubble – what guys get when they dont shave for a while (not a beard!)

animation movie –

the head teacher – the main teacher, the “boss” of the other teachers

to see movies – to watch movies
