Shanghai Danhui International Ltd. (2011 – 2015)
HR Manager
My responsibilities included handling recruitment, conducting interviews, training new employees, pay roll for staffend of years appraisals, and organising corporate events.
In this company I learnt good time management and general management skills because I was working and studying at the same time, which helped me to improve my management capabilities and work well under preasure.

WLBS (2004 – 2009)
HR and Admin Supervisor
My responsibilities included all admin and HR responsibilities, like recruitment, payroll, appraisal, and handling company visa’s for foreign workers. I also help to update the company licence.

Ceibs (2002 – 2004)
Logistics Assistant
My responsibilities included organising important documents and assisting the logistics manager with his daily work. I helped the logistics manager to deal with various admin tasks such as writing and updating notifications, arranging the many daily shuttle bus and general support for all other department’s requirements.

Toshiba (2000 – 2002)
Admin Assistant
Most days I spent my time working at the reception and performing a verity of HR functions, for example, writing and sending attendance report to the admin manager, booking and organising flights and hotels, and inventory maintenance.

I studied at SHJTU for 3 years while I was working. Every week I had two evening classes after I finished work. I learned lots of HR Management skills during these 3 years, I think it was very useful for me to improve my career.

Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (1997 – 2000)
Diploma in Finance Management
During this time I developed the base knowledge that would help me to understand the connection between the financial and admin side of business. In the last year of University I gained some work experience in Shanghai Hotel, where I worked in their business centre as a clerk. This helped to prepare me for my first job and taught me some computer and customer service skills as well as how to work well in a team.

Skills:

Communication skills: In these year I have communicated with different people at work, like, boss, general manager, subordinates and other department’s staff.
Working well under presure: At the end of every year HR work is so busy and the most important. I always worked overtime because I had to finish all the employee appraisals. One week I should collect all the department’s appraisals for each individual employee and organise them all as well as checking to avoid mistakes. This was a very important job because it was directly linked to the annual bonus.
