F2F Class Notes 30th March (Celeste)

Yesterday, we tried to play a new board game, it is called Coup. The goal of the game is to survive at the end of the game. So each player starts the game with two coins and two faced down character cards. You can’t see anything. The five characters, each character has 3 copies, total of 15 cards. I think its good for 5-6 people to play that game. Each player only gets 2 cards. Each character has his own powers. The first one is duke. If you have a duke card you can take 3 coins from the bank. The next one, is the assassin. You can pay 3 coins and try to assassinate another player’s character. The next one is contessa. If you have a contessa it can help you to prevent being assassinated. The fourth one is the captain. If you have captain, you can steal 2 coins from another player it can also prevent other players from stealing. The last one is ambassador. If you have an ambassador, you can pick up to cards on the desk and you can choose to exchange cards or not. ON your turn you can do any of actions, you can lie to others.

We just played two rounds of that game. I made some new friends. I made some foreigner friends. They were from USA, Spain. I did it on purpose because I was learning English. Its quite fun and they help me a lot. Speaking English can just be a part of my life. I hope I can learn that in quite a natural way.

I hope that speaking English can just be a part of my life. I really like learning English like this, instead of in a classroom like when I was a teenager.
