Do you have been?  – Have you been to

Have you been in… shanghai for a long time

artifacts – some old objects made by people from the past

eg: You can find native american artifacts in America.

cliff dwellings – ancient homes built in the side of cliffs

eg: There are a few cliff dwellings in China, mostly for temples.

grave – a place where someone is buried

eg: Many ancient graves are lost.

hypothetical – situation that is not real, but used as if it were real

eg: Can i ask you a hypothetical question? If you were a dog, what kind of dog would you be?

Homework

Create some questions to ask in class.   Many can be hypothetical.    Try to ask follow up questions.

Real or not.

Believe them or not.

What was it like to grow up in America?

Do you believe in Aliens?     Where do you think they are from?(follow up question)

Do you think your life would be different if you didn’t have the same job?
