I’m using some instruments to test the optical systems. – I used some instruments to test the optical systems today.

First I designed the optical systems, then we gave the factory workers blueprints to produce a prototype. Then I used some instruments to test the prototype for flaws. Then i got off work before we finished testing. (finished)

prototype – a model produced to test for problems, flaws and imperfections

blueprints – detailed plans for how to produce or build something

a kind of – Coffee is a kind of drink. Beer is a kind of alcohol. Blueprints are a kind of plan.

flaw – an imperfection eg: “Our systems can not have any flaws.”

flawless – no imperfections

perfect – there are no problems or flaws “Our systems must be perfect.”
