to unfold = (about a situation etc) to develop, to happen (figurative)

E.g.
There wasn’t much he could do except sit back and watch things as they unfolded.

surreal adj = which does not seem real, said of a situation which is difficult to believe or accept

an out-of-body experience n = a surreal experience

mosh pit n = an area (usually in front of a concert stage) where concertgoers can dance / jump /
