Michel and I took the train for an hour and a half to my hometown for celebrate my moms 60th birthday on Saturday morning . In China, many old people didn’t celebrate themselves birthday every year . But they will celebrate birthday every 10 years , then will make a big party . We called longevity . So my mom made reservations at the restaurant and invited all of family for dinner. My mom so gladded that everyone came and had delicious food, the main part that I gave her the gold earrings. I also happy because before always my mom gave me everything that I want. Now I can return her.

We call this celebration “longevity”/We celebrate someone’s long life or longevity. So my mom made reservations at a/the YongXingLou restaurant and invited all of our family for dinner. My mom was so glad that everyone came and had delicious food. The thing that made her the happiest was that I gave her gold earrings. I was also happy because before my mom always gave me everything that I wanted. Now I can return the favor. / Now, I can give her everything she wants.
