I born in Harbin. – I was born in Harbin.

When I was 16 I went to Shanghai. – When I was 16 I moved to Shanghai.

Ex: Last month, I moved from Beijing to Shanghai.

Last year, I moved from Suzhou to Shanghai because I have a children and his ID card in Shanghai. So, when he three he must be in Shanghai to go to school. So, I must find job in Shanghai because I ready to live in Shanghai. If I am not have children I can live in every city. But, the children must go to school in three. So I must move from Suzhou to Shanghai.

Last year, I moved from Suzhou to Shanghai because I have a son and his ID card is in Shanghai. So, when he is three he must go to school in Shanghai. So, I must find a job in Shanghai because I am ready to live in Shanghai. I like Suzhou more than Shanghai because Suzhou’s air is better than Shanghai. At my house in Suzhou, I can see Tai Lake. If I did not have children I can live anywhere. But, the children must go to school when they are three years old. So I must move from Suzhou to Shanghai.
