Maybe I should go back to my hometown for Spring Festival. Because my parents haven’t seen me for a long time.

Grammar

I didn’t very busy – I wasn’t very busy   (If using Be, am, was, then use an ADJ. after)

I didn’t work that much. (If using Did or Do, then use a V. after)

Vocabulary

already – yi jing

eg:”I completed most of the work already.” “I already completed most of the work.”

Spring Festival – Chun jie, Chinese New Year.

eg: “I will be busy after Spring Festival.” “Where will you go for Spring Festival?” “For Spring Festival I will go to visit my family in my hometown.”

The last time – zui jin de yi ci – the most previous time

eg: “When was the last time you saw them?” “Your last class was with Tanya.”

The last time – zui hou the final time, not again after this time.

eg: “Your last class will be in Shanghai.”  “We don’t know which teacher you will have your final (last) class with.”

Q: When was the last time you ate Sushi?

A: The last time I had Sushi was in May, with my old friend from school.

Q: Where did you celebrate Christmas?

A: I celebrated Christmas in Shanghai, at home with my friends.
