A: It was okay. Jesse tested my reading, writing, speaking and listening. I improved by 3 points but I think my reading is still low.

Like many Chinese people,learning native English is surely not easy for us. My English was so poor especially for pronunciation and speaking before as i did not have a good language environment to improve my English. We almost communicated with others in Chinese even at work.
I remembered that i didn’t know even what to answer teacher’s simple questions when i came to SE and was rather nervous to speak out. It’s a good English study place because of its Face to Face model which is the main reason i chose here. All teachers especially Jesse and Celeste teach me very patiently. I booked Celeste’s class basically. At the beginning Celeste helped me correct pronunciation especially “r” and “L”. It’s not easy for me at that time and I felt bored and crazy. She also did very slow 5 minutes pronunciation practice with lots of mouth movements every class. This did help me very much and I become to like reading now. The 3 step classes study method is really useful for me. First I told story in the class and then Celeste corrected for me. She would review for me and upgrade to high level next class so I learned new vocabulary and grammar in this way. Sometimes i was given homework to write a story,this help me improve writing very much.
It has been more than three months since i came to SE. I feel more confident to speak English out and now I like studying English than before. Thank all teachers help me improve my listening,speaking,reading and writing and I am willing to spend more time learning English in future.
