Vocabulary

Stereotype (n): 1- a set idea that people have about what someone or something is like, especially an idea that is wrong.
E.g.: I think I fit the popular stereotype of a mad scientist.

Outskirts (n): 1- the areas that form the edge of a town or city.
E.g.: The factory is in/on the outskirts of New Delhi.

Resurrection (n): 1- the act of bringing something that had disappeared or ended back into use or existence.
E.g.: Easter is a Christian celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Raffle (n): 1- an activity in which people buy tickets with different numbers, some of which are later chosen to win prizes, that is organized in order to make money for a good social purpose. 2- 抽奖
E.g.: I have never won anything in a raffle.

Bunny (n): 1- a rabbit.
E.g.: My children no longer believe in the Easter Bunny.

Catholic (adj): 1- 天主教徒
