Homework

Write a short paragraph using the word the you have learned over the last three classes.

Vocabulary

Drama (n): the excitement and energy that is created by a lot of action and arguments.
E.g.: As a lawyer, he enjoyed the drama of the courtroom.

Excitement (n): 1- a strong feelings of happiness and enthusiasm. (adj: excited / v: excite)
E.g.: Nothing about my life gives me excitement right now.

Compare (v): 1-  to examine or look for the difference between two or more things.
E.g.: If you compare house prices in the two areas, it’s quite amazing how different they are.

Practice (v): 1- the act of doing something regularly or repeatedly to improve your skill at doing it.
E.g.: I need to get some more practice before I take my driving test.

Concerned (adj): 1- worried.
E.g.: I’m a bit concerned about your health.

Co-worker (n): 1- colleague.
E.g.: I really like my co-workers at the new company.

Environment (n): 1- the air, water, and land in or on which people, animals, and plants live. 2-  the conditions that you live or work in and the way that they influence how you feel or how effectively you can work:
E.g.: We’re not doing enough to protect the environment from pollution.
E.g.: The office is quite bright and airy – it’s a pleasant working environment.

Sense of humor (n): 1- 幽默感
