Writing exercise

Last Friday, my computer broke. I can’t login to the system. After it was checked by the company’s IT specialist, he told me my hard drive was broken and it will be hard to recover. This is a big disaster for me. I can’t believe that all of my memory was lost, I don’t know how to continue my job without these files.
My IT co-worker told me that he would try to repair it, but he can’t guarantee that I will get all of my files back. He will try his best. Now I am still using an old laptop, it’s really inconvenient for me, I used to have two displays but now I only have a single small screen.
