Bachelors (degree) – the first four years of university

Masters (degree) – after your bachelors degree you can get a masters

Soul draining – when it feels like your soul is leaving your body and you are slowly dying (soul destroying: 一样的意思)

It’s been a long time since I last came to class, because my last job had very irregular working hours. I needed to always be available so when my boss called me I had to immediately go back to the office, even if it was a Saturday. Finally, last week I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore! I didn’t have any personal time and I couldn’t meet my friends on weekends, it was terrible! So I quit and found another job, it’s a headhunting company, which is not like my last job. I think there are a lot of challenges waiting for me and it will be interesting to talk to many different people.

And last week I felt that I can’t do it anymore, I don’t have my personal time and I can’t meet my friends on weekends, It’s terrible. So I fired my boss and found another job. It’s a headhunting company, it’s not like my last job. I think there are a lot of challenges waiting for me, it will be interesting to talk to many different person.
