eg. the city is very noisy and is full of different noises

eg. the renovations are so noisy / someone is renovating their apartment upstairs

eg. i live in an apartment complex

concrete slab – a big piece of concrete
eg. there’s a concrete slab between each floor

vibrate / vibration
eg. the phone is vibrating in my pocket
