Ex. Some genres of music are Pop, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Rap, Rock, etc.

Jar – a small container, usually glass, 罐子

Sermon – a speech that a priest or pastor gives during a church service

Priest/pastor – the person who leads a church service

Religion – 宗教

Wipe – 擦

Optimist – a person who assumes the best,

Bitter-sweet – an adjective to describe something that is happy and sad at the same time

Phrases


The phrase nothing spectacular means “nothing impressive,” “nothing excited.”

Ex. I’ve had a pretty boring day, nothing spectacular has happened. L

Often, women use the phrase to wear a face to describe the action of putting on large amounts of makeup.
