I started my business with setting up a “book bar” with one of my friends when I was a junior college student. Our book bar operated as a small library. We collected some interesting books related to architecture, medicine and law, and then people can come and read these books to have fun or just take a rest. We even encourage our readers to write comment on sticky notes then next time maybe he could find different opinions from other readers for the same question. Our potential customers were the students of my university so we priced everything in a reasonable way. Everyone only needed to pay RMB 25 then could stay there during business hours and our coffee only charged from RMB10 to 15. Some students also came to finish their homework or prepare for the exam. The library of my university closed at 10 pm, but some students would like to study in the dead of night. So our book bar ran from 6 pm to 7 am, which could perfectly meet such kind of demand.

This book bar operated for three years. I still feel that it was the most wonderful thing in my college life.
