to position v = to place something, someone or oneself in a specific location, usually in relation to other items or persons

E.g. The General decided to position his troops behind the enemy.

position n  = opinion

E.g. What is your position on the Middle East peace process?

conflict n = dispute, war, fight

question v = to ask questions

E.g. She was questioned by the FBI for three hours.

question v = to doubt, to not believe something

alien n = wai xing ren / wai guo ren

questionable adj = which can be doubted

assertion n = to state, to say, to affirm, to claim

accurate n = correct, true, exact, precise

to integrate = to become or make a part of something

E.g.
Timmy found it very easy to integrate with his new group of friends.


a mosquito bite
= the bite from a mosquito

I got bitten by a mosquito.

A mosquito bit me.

bite – bit – bitten

Q: Have you been to Chengdu before?
A: I have been to Chengdu before.
