workshop – do/learn sth for a period of time, usually casual setting

internship – learn the skills or job in order to prepare for that career pathway, sometimes a trial process, afterwards some ppl hope to be hired by the company

I like light/simple/classic/pure/clean flavors.

I like heavy/complex/modern/fusion/spicy/salty/sweet flavors.

blend/fusion – a mixture of things [culinary]

eg. There is a new fusion restaurant in Jing’an that blends Thai cuisine and French cuisine.

My situation is complicated. It’s complicated to explain. = It’s difficult to explain. It’s not easy. – negative

used for: emotions, stories, situations, relationships, experiences, techniques

This is a complex situation. = This is not simple./ There are many parts to it. – neutral

used for: situations, ideas, stories, flavors, techniques, education

When sth benefits sb/sth, it is beneficial. – positive

Why is it beneficial for you to come to SE?

It is beneficial for me to come to SE to study oral English.

I benefit from coming to SE to study oral English.
