Vocabulary

parcel or package – 包裹

to recognise someone – to see someone and know who they are (it’s familiar)

recognise something – to see an object and know what the object is

e.g. I recognised Frank at the door earlier.

to identify – to know who someone is

e.g. Can you identify this person for me?

to distinguish – to see the difference between things (to separate)

e.g. Can you distinguish me from my twin brother?

pros and cons – good things and bad things about something or someone

House hunting will take you a lot of time. I am a bit tired of it because when you look and find five or eight different house, many times … Every house has its pros and cons. It’s very hard to see a decision if you see too much house. The house should have enough space for 6 people to live in. There should be enough light in the house. Have good environment in the community. The community is clean and the people are nice.

Because it’s much cheaper than Shanghai houses. You should search the house in the website and go to the house to take a look. Make appointment with owner. I have looked 8 house. Is a lot. Maybe I will look more house, because when people compare… Every time you see a different house, your opinion will change. I want a house with enough space, but when you see different house it’s very hard to identify how much square meters is large enough.

My apartment was next to the railway station. The distance between my apartment and the company shouldn’t take me forty minutes. Have a balcony. Is big enough. Large than 25 square meters.

It’s a big deal to have a house. The price is rising. This is Chinese opinion about house and apartment. I also think is not very important, but the reality is people think a successful people should have an apartment. If you dont have house or apartment, you are a loser. Because house is kind of property.
